| ANSWER: | It is the intent of Section 313.8.2.1 that the provisions of Section 508--Fire-Resistive Substitution not be allowed when an approved automatic sprinkler system is required throughout a building classified as an LC Occupancy and as described in Section 313.8.2.1. Section 505 or 506 may be used. |
