WAC 51-30-1111 does not appear to provide such an exception. Do additions of three or fewer dwelling units need to meet the requirements of Part II of Chapter 11? |
| ANSWER: | Additions of three or fewer dwelling units do need to meet the requirements of Part II of Chapter 11, however, since Exception 1 to Section 1103.1.8.2 exempts Group R occupancies with no more than three dwelling units from accessibility requirements, then additions of less than three Group R Division 1 apartment units are also exempted. |
